Valerie drove away from Jeffery’s house, with shaking hands around her steering wheel. A drop of sweat rolled down her face. She didn't dare to turn her head, too afraid to look out of the window beside her driving seat. Afraid if she looked outside, she would see the red blood color rolling down the window, the word glaring back at her.
She had removed the word from her window with the help of Jeffery, but the shadow of it still lingered in her mind.
